Out of Office and Temporary Away Messages
Out of Office Replies
Out of office replies are messages that are sent to contacts automatically when they send you a message outside of regular business hours.
To set up an Out of Office reply, head to the Automations page and click Out of Office Messages.
First, set the hours you’re available to respond to messages. To make yourself available, click the toggle button next to the day and then set the hours in which you can be reached.
Then, once you’ve set the days and times, enable Out of Office messages by clicking the toggle button above the message input.
Write your message, then press Save to save your changes.
Temporary Away Messages
Temporary Away Message are messages you can set up that will automatically be sent in response to any message you receive up until an end date. They’re perfect for vacations or holidays where no one will be responding to Text Messages.
To create a Temporary Away Message, head to the Automations page and click Out of Office Messages. From there, click the Temporary Away Message tab just below the heading.
Choose how long you wish this message to be active, then write the message in the box provided. Once both are done, click Create.
If you’d like to disable the message early, click the Disable button that appears once the message is created.
Contacts will only receive this message once every 24 hours per instance.
